About this work
Book box with 29 photographs and prints on 15 leaves with insert passe-partouts. The album mainly contains reproductions of portraits of paintings (including by Ernst Hader) and drawings of writers and composers. Including Friedrich von Schiller, Alfred Tennyson, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Richard Wagner. The photographs were mainly published in Germany and made by, among others, Sophus Williams and Friedrich Bruckmann. Not all leaves contain photographs and some passe-partouts contain annotations despite not being filled.
