About this work

Leporello album in blue linen cover, with the title in gold print and an image of ancient Rome on the front cover. The back cover features rectangular frames and the name of the bookbinder in blind stamping. The album contains eight light prints mounted on thin cardboard that are attached to each other and can be unfolded. This is followed by the title page. These are images made from a panorama painting based on a design by professors Joseph Bühlmann (1844-1921) and Alexander von Wagner (1838-1919). It was exhibited in Munich in the 1890s.
