Photo album with views of churches, statues and ancient buildings in Rome

Photo album in red linen binding. The title on the front cover is decorated with an image of Romulus, Remus and the she-wolf in relief and gold print. The corners feature a geometric and plant motif in black and in relief. The endpapers are made of beige paper with a floral motif. The album contains eighteen leaves with red-gilt edges. All prints in the album bear the inscription 'Edizione inalterabile' (unalterable print) in the bottom left corner. These may be older images that were printed later, given the printing technique. The images depict the interior and exterior of Roman churches, including St. Peter's Basilica, St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and the Basilica of St. Lawrence Outside the Walls.
