About this work
Printed Bible with 190 bound prints with depictions from the New Testament and one folded map inserted loose between the title pages. These are mainly very late impressions of originally sixteenth- and seventeenth-century copperplates. Many prints are part of series that are not included in their entirety or in a different order in this Bible. Some of these are provided with a border printed from a second plate or are cut within the depiction to fit the publication.
