Photo album with views of sights and works of art in Italy

Photo album with parchment front and back covers. Both are decorated with stylized leaf motifs in gold leaf, the front cover is printed with the text 'Italy'. The pages are decorated with red edges, the endpapers are decorated with leaf motifs. The album contains 49 leaves with 91 photographs and prints. The subject of these concerns mainly sights in Rome and Vatican City and views of the Italian coast. The photographs, made by Alinari, are probably of an earlier date and reprinted in developed gelatin silver prints. At the back of the album there are seven loose photographs, prints and further documentation, including two group portraits in front of a ruin. Presumably this group made a trip through Italy, on the basis of which this album was compiled.
