From the collection of Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Free to download, adapt and use — no permission needed.
Photo album in brown leather binding with 50 leaves held together by metal pins. The endpapers feature a green marbled motif. The brown cardboard leaves are separated by parchment sheets and contain 67 photographs; one photograph is missing. All prints bear a handwritten inscription. They are views of offices, factory halls, machines, yards, waterworks, worker housing, and clinics belonging to four sugar factories on Java: Boedoeran, Goedo, Meritjan, and Ngandjoek. Each series is concluded with aerial views of the respective factory complex. These photographs were made possible by the Aviation Department of the Royal Netherlands-Indie Army and printed by Fotografisch Atelier Isken.
