About this work
A woman is taken up to heaven after she has rejected worldly authority. In heaven the choir of angels sits welcoming her with a laurel wreath. The woman stands on earth and raises her arms. A motto band with the words: Transported with Thy exellence, connects her with heaven. On the ground lies next to her an orb with a globe.
