About this work

The personification of Justice, holding scales, and the personification of Abundance, holding the cornucopia, stand beside a pillar topped with the coat of arms featuring the lion of the evangelist Mark. This is possibly the coat of arms of Venice. Abundance holds a chain to which a defeated soldier is attached.
