About this work
Autumn landscape with autumn scenes. November is the acorn and slaughter month. Central is the feeding of pigs with acorns that some men are beating out of a tree. In the background the livestock is being slaughtered. In the middle top the zodiac sign Sagittarius. In this series of the twelve months each month is depicted with the human activities typical for it, its climatic characteristics and its zodiac sign.
