About this work
In the foreground, a ravine with Christ next to Peter. To the right, in the middle ground, the inhabitants of Nazareth jeer at Christ and drive him out of their city. In the background to the left, Christ continues his journey through Israel. The print has a Latin inscription with a Bible text (Luke 4) and is the third print of a series of four.
