About this work

Christ on the donkey, the Pope on horseback. Comparison between the humility of Christ and the pride of the Pope. With an inscription in the plate of 2 columns of 5 and 4 lines, and separate text on the sheet with 50 numbered differences between Christ and the Pope in Dutch. Satire on the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church, using a sixteenth-century original image motif.
