About this work
The Crucifixion of Christ on Golgotha. Longinus thrusts his lance into the side of Christ. On either side of this central scene are images of crucified children. At the top, God the Father, amidst angels with crowns for the young martyrs. At the bottom, Christ is followed by young believers carrying crosses on their backs.
