About this work
Esau has returned hungry from the hunt. His hunting dogs stand next to him. He sells his birthright to his younger brother Jacob for a bowl of lentils, which he already has in his hands. Jacob and Rebekah sit at the table. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Genesis 25.
