About this work

Rectangle with a protrusion on the right side, surrounded by an ornamental border, subdivided into ten fields, which are themselves subdivided into ten small fields. Forty of those small fields are left empty, sixty are filled with small representations of a juridical nature. For example, short juridical sayings ('Tuas res tibi habeto'), transactions, contracts etc. are depicted. This sheet is part of a series of sheets with always (space for) ten times ten small juridical representations. Possibly concerns illustrations for a book.
