View of the Corvershof (left) on the Nieuwe Herengracht in Amsterdam. Seen towards the Binnen-Amstel, with on the left in the background a piece of the Diaconie Oude Vrouwen- en Mannenhuis. On the street groups of people are talking. Part of a series of prints of the Corvershof, taken into use in 1723, intended for elderly couples of the Dutch Reformed (later Reformed) faith.
