View of the Corvershof (left) on the Nieuwe Herengracht in Amsterdam. Viewed towards the Binnen-Amstel, with on the left in the background a part of the Diaconie Oude Vrouwen- en Mannenhuis. Groups of people talking on the street. Part of a series of prints of the Corvershof, put into use in 1723, intended for older married couples of the Nederduits Gereformeerde (later Hervormde) church.
