Apollo with lyre sits on a cloud deck, with a halo of rays around his head. Below him a beehive with the word 'Industry' on a pedestal, flanked on the left by Mercury and on the right by a river god. On the pedestal the coat of arms of Amsterdam. At the top a garland with theatrical attributes and musical instruments.
