Science (Scientia) offers the bride (Sponsa) her mirror. The bride is flanked by Justice (Justitia) and Chastisement (Castigatio). Piety (Timor Dei), Satisfaction (Satisfactio), Repentance (Poenitentia) and Confession (Confessio) look on. In the margin a four-line inscription, in two columns, in Latin.
