About this work

Science (Scientia) once again holds her mirror before the bride (Sponsa), who looks into it. Justice (Justitia), Piety (Timor Dei), Chastisement (Castigatio), Satisfaction (Satisfactio), Repentance (Poenitentia) and Confession (Confessio) look on. In the margin a four-line inscription, in two columns, in Latin.
