About this work
The Poor Man lies on a straw bed under a shelter. He is mourned by three figures. In the sky, three angels carry the poor Lazarus to heaven. To the left in the background, Lazarus as a sick man, walking on crutches in a landscape. The print has a Latin inscription and a Dutch and French subtitle. It is part of a series on the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus.
