About this work
A spring landscape. In the sky the astrological sign of March, the Ram. In the bottom right corner Christ tells three of his disciples the parable of the sower (Luke 8). In the center a farmer sows seed over his field. Birds follow him and eat the seed. In the background gardening is done. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series about the life of Christ depicted in the twelve months of the year.
