About this work
A summer landscape. In the sky the astrological sign of June: Cancer. In the right corner Christ tells the parable of the greedy farmer to his disciples. In the center workers work on the construction of a larger barn for the greedy farmer, who sits against a tree (Luke 12). The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series about the life of Christ depicted in the twelve months of the year.
