On a pedestal the female personification of Physics or Worldview. She removes the blindfold from the man standing before her, a philosopher; he had deceived himself with his own imagination. In contrast to the philosopher, who bases his finding of truth on imagination, Worldview or Physics finds the truth through observation (empirical research) of nature, by contemplating the world. Around her various scientific instruments that help her with this. With this she arrives at the finding of the True Faith, to the right behind her depicted as a naked woman with in one hand a palm branch and bible and in the other hand the divine light. In the background various natural phenomena.
