About this work

Vignette with the portrait of Prayer in an architectural frame in which at the bottom a winged cartouche with a burning heart is depicted. Prayer is veiled, kneels in prayer with a censer in her hand and holds a heart pressed against her breast. The print is part of a series of book illustrations on virtues and vices.
