About this work
Portrait of the antiquarian, wine merchant and antique collector Dirk Christiaan Meijer jr., also co-founder of the Genootschap Amstelodamum and treasurer of the Royal Antiquarian Society. On this second state of the print the body of Meijer is completed. Meijer sits in a chair with a print in his right hand. Next to him a portfolio with prints in a stand.
