About this work

Balaam looks towards the desert and sees the tribes of the people of Israel stationed there. He speaks an oracle concerning the people of Israel. Next to him stands Balak. In the background the seven altars of sacrifice are visible. On each Balak has just sacrificed an ox and a ram.
