About this work
In an open forge, men hammer iron with hammers. In the foreground lie iron tools, while in the background they are being used. A seated woman sews with an iron needle, a man drives a spade into the ground, and a farmer plows the field with a plow. At the bottom, explanatory text for the letter Y.
