About this work
Perseus floating on the winged horse Pegasus through the air. He holds the severed head of Medusa above the sea monster to which Andromeda is sacrificed. In the left foreground a flying gull. In this second state of the print a hilly landscape with a castle and two settlements has been added to the print.
