About this work
A sleeping man is startled by an allegorical figure with snake hair who pulls the sheets off him. To the left, a veiled woman has appeared who is surrounded by a wreath of light. In her hands she holds a dish with burning fire. A laurelled third figure, seen from the back, moves with a dagger towards the bed. Print marked top right: pag. 153.
