Satirical print on the Prince and his followers, 1782

Satirical print on Prince William V of Orange and the Frisian branch. A room in which the prince enters; centrally stands P. Wierdsma with 'Plan to bring Friesland under the yoke' and the two gentlemen Jr. W. van Hambroick Protector of the Hoerenwaarden and Col. Plettenberg on the ground with saddles on their women's backs with 'Rights and Freedoms of the Frisian People'. On the left grietman Idema, professor Petrus Camper, A. Lyklama a Nieholt Vrijheer van Sodom, Jr. Ch. Bigot. On the right Grietman v.d. Haar, R. Acronius, Messalina Schepper Geb: Scheltinga and Grietman Schepper de Hoorndrager riding a donkey. In this state, before all names and inscriptions and the forged dedication of October 1, 1782, and forged names of the makers.
