About this work
Satirical print on a Mennonite wedding. A large room in which all guests at a wedding feast are struck by acute diarrhea, with all the consequences thereof. At the front left of the table (no. 1) the culprit who put the laxative beans in the food. In the foreground, a lady lifts her overskirt, on the right three men on a tub. In the inscription the legend 1-27, in which mention is made of Menno Simons, Jan van Leiden and Bernard Knipperdollinck.
