About this work
King Solomon makes proverbs and songs about all kinds of plants, from the cedar on Lebanon to the hyssop that grows out of the wall, and about the creeping things, the birds, the creeping things and the fish. Solomon stands among these animals and plants and points to an old man standing next to him. At the bottom a reference to the biblical text 1 Kings 4:33 in French.
