About this work

An elegantly dressed lady sits with a young man at a table eating. In the corner of the room stands a poor woman, the personification of the soul neglected by man, gnawing on a bone. Print from a series of four prints about the care of man for the body and the neglect of the soul. Each print with an inscription in Latin, French and Dutch.
