Monument commemorating the folly of the year 1720. On a large wagon driven by a jester, Fortune scatters shares of the Actien. The cart is pulled by, among others, personifications of the South Sea and Mississippi companies. The wagon is led by Fame in the direction of the poorhouse and madhouse. Around the cart merchants and victims. Right in the background the coffee house Quincampoix. At the bottom the emblem with the motto Schijn Bedriegt in Latin. In the caption the explanation of the representation in French and Dutch. Print 27 (late impression of no. 18) in the series Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Share Trade of 1720.
