Allegory on the founding of the Orangist society de Oprechte Vaderlandsche Sociëteit in Rotterdam, 7 or 18 January 1787. Interior with men sitting around a table, on the walls depictions of the Union of Utrecht (1579) and the Synod of Dort (1618–1619). In the foreground, Father Time lifts the curtain to reveal images of Religion, Liberty, and Hercules slaying the Hydra. In the background, the portrait of Prince Willem V on the wall of an adjacent room.
