About this work
A bathhouse with bathing men and women, and on the "roof terrace", lovers and musicians. On the right, the fountain of youth, in which old and infirm people are dipped. They emerge rejuvenated. In the background on the right, a rejuvenated woman stands in a fire in which crutches and sticks are burning. Three naked men around her. A jester, on the terrace, mocks the whole scene.
