About this work
A bathhouse with bathing men and women and, on the "roof terrace", lovers and musicians. On the right, the Fountain of Youth, in which old and infirm people are immersed. They emerge rejuvenated. In the background on the right, a rejuvenated woman stands in a fire in which crutches and canes are burning. Three naked men around her. A jester on the terrace mocks the whole scene.
