About this work
The lion wears on its head a crown with a tree between two palm leaves and two volutes of leaf scrolls. Leaf from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 leaves, divided into three books.
