About this work
Allegorical representation of autumn. A decorative composition with three medallions with personifications of the months September, October and November with corresponding zodiac signs. In the center on an arcade sits Bacchus surrounded by grapevines between two caryatids. On both sides of Bacchus lie felines. Under the arcade a vase is carried by two eagles. At the bottom four dogs.
