About this work
On a pedestal, at the foot of a column, a hunter pierces a boar held by dogs. The basin is enclosed with a fence of branches in which on the left a dog and on the right a turtle sit. One of 20 sheets from a series (Architectura. Von Ausztheilung, Symmetria und Proportion der fünff Seulen...) consisting of 193 sheets and 5 title pages, divided into five books. This is a second, expanded edition of the series described under Orn Cat I-319.
