About this work
In the temple of Baal, people overthrow the idols. Before the altar, the Baal priest is killed with a halberd. The high priest Jehoiada watches with the seven-year-old King Joash. At the bottom of the margin a verse in Latin and a reference to the Biblical text in 2 Kings 11:18. This print is part of an album.
