About this work
King Hezekiah has the springs and irrigation channels outside Jerusalem closed so that Sennacherib and his army will have no abundance of water during the siege of Jerusalem. In the background, the walls of Jerusalem are reinforced and provided with towers. Below the depiction a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in 2 Chronicles 32:2. This print is part of an album.
