King Nebuchadnezzar and the Adoration of the Golden Image

King Nebuchadnezzar has had a golden statue erected and has ordered that everyone must bow before the statue. At the sound of the trumpet a crowd bows before the statue. A man tells the king, on the balcony to the left, that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refuse to bow. The three men are arrested in the middle of the background. Far right an oven is being stoked to burn anyone who does not bow. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Dan. 3:1. This print is part of an album.
