About this work
Jonah walks the streets of Nineveh and proclaims the destruction of the city due to idolatry. The inhabitants and the animals of Nineveh kneel on the ground and beg God for forgiveness. Even the king throws himself to the ground. Below the image, a Latin reference to the Biblical text in Jonah 3:4. This print is part of an album.
