About this work

In an enclosed vineyard, vintners kill the owner's servants. The servants had come to collect the portion of the harvest to which the owner was entitled. When his servants do not return, the owner decides to send his son. His son is thrown out of the vineyard by the tenants in the foreground and murdered. Below the image is a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Luke 20:9. This print is part of an album.
