About this work
In an enclosed vineyard, vintners kill the owner's servants who came to collect the portion of the harvest to which the owner was entitled. When his servants do not return, the owner decides to send his son. His son is thrown out of the vineyard and murdered by the tenants in the foreground. Below the image, a Latin reference to the biblical text in Luke 20:9. This print is part of an album.
