About this work
In an enclosed vineyard, vintagers kill the owner's servants. The servants had come to collect the portion of the harvest to which the owner was entitled. When his servants do not return, the owner decides to send his son. His son is thrown out of the vineyard and murdered by the tenants in the foreground. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Luke 20:9. This print is part of an album.
