Frederick Henry is laureled and offered a sword by Mars. Above him flies Fame and two putti with shields. Around him, a group of women, a woman with the liberty cap, a personification of shipping, and a personification of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands. Below, chained figures flank a cartouche with a battle.
