David is received by Saul in the army camp, where he tells them that he wants to fight Goliath. David is incorrectly depicted in the foreground partially in armor, because he refused the equipment. The soldier behind him puts a helmet on his head. Below the image a Latin reference to the biblical text in 1 Samuel 17. This print is part of an album.
