About this work
In the temple of Baal, people overthrow the idols. Before the altar, the priest of Baal is killed with a halberd. The high priest Jehoiada watches with the seven-year-old King Joash. At the bottom of the margin, a verse in Latin and a reference to the biblical text in 2 Kings 11:18. This print is part of an album.
